All Together Now...Ljungblahd

So, I'm updating my musician of the month today. I promise not to let you down and to bring you another delectably unknown artist. This one was really hard. I had to choose between someone i have listened to forever and someone I just recently evaluated. I went with the forever part because I'm cool and nobody can beat me. Anyway, the musician of the month, without any further sidetracks, is Samuel Ljungblahd. He is a Swedish R&B/Jazz/Gospel singer and he is so good that he transcends three music genres. No. I'm not lying. He does. I was hooked in August by the first track i ever heard by him, Eazy, off of his debut album (Reason Why) and i still listen to that song to this day. It's as if it never gets old. All of his other songs are just as 'eazy' to get into, especially if you're one who is down for any kind of music. The songs on his album just aren't able to stay in one genre or another, and because of his magnificent mastery of that I give him my musician of the month award for January. The only bad thing about this musician is that he is so little known in the United States that there is almost no possible way to get his music. The only option is iTunes, and not only do I not have the program, I also don't really have the money at the moment to buy it offline. If it were in stores though, I could probably buy it in a heartbeat because I'm a sad little impulse buyer when it comes to music. Back on subject, it is quite obvious to me that he is a sensation that should head its way over here to the states because he's an awesome singer and because i said so. Everyone has to follow what I say. His last name is also awesome. I think I will name your child that, if you don't mind.
You'll Like Samuel Ljungblahd if you like: Justin Timberlake, John Legend, Robyn Thicke, Stevie Wonder, That song Roxanne I dunno who it's by, etc.
Artist's Website: In Swedish, But Easy To Understand And different from the link in the sidebar, more music.

The runner up was Lightspeed Champion. So we'll call him the musician of the month for December. I only like a couple of his songs though, so he's not as good of a pick.
My life - uh...I'm being forced to take a semester off from school. I had money that didn't come in by the deadline to register for classes. So, yeah. I'm trying to get a full-time part-time (that makes sense, just think about it) job. That way i can get an apartment for summer session and next fall. I might also get my license and some other little things that i've been wanting to have like Ljungblahd's babies, i mean, mp3s...yeah...
You are the reason why I smile,
Anika With a Y
